Understanding how credits work in DgiDgi.
What is a Credit?
1 credit = 1 AI operation
Simple and intuitive. When you ask DgiDgi to:
- Generate code
- Analyze a file
- Run an agent task
- Get a chat response
Each of these uses credits based on the AI model used.
Credit Costs by Model Tier
Different AI models have different capabilities and costs:

- Under 500 credits: £0.10/credit
- 500-1,999 credits: £0.07/credit (30% off)
- 2,000+ credits: £0.05/credit (50% off)
Earning Free Credits
Referral Program
Invite friends and earn credits:
- You get: 5 credits when someone signs up with your link
- They get: 5 credits as a welcome bonus
- Bonus: 10 additional credits when they subscribe to a paid plan
Social Sharing
Share DgiDgi on social media and earn credits:

Limits:
- 1 share per platform per day
- Maximum 5 shares per day
- Maximum 50 credits per month from sharing
Important: Delayed Release
Social share rewards are subject to a verification period:
- Rewards enter "pending" status when you share
- Credits are released after 24-72 hours
- This helps us prevent abuse and ensure fair rewards
- You'll see "Rewards pending verification" in your account
This is standard practice to maintain the integrity of our rewards program.
Credit Usage Tips
Choose the Right Model
- Quick tasks: Use Fast models (1 credit)
- Important work: Use Powerful models (2 credits)
- Complex problems: Use Reasoning models (4 credits)
Monitor Your Usage
View your credit usage in Settings → Billing:
- Current balance
- Usage this period
- Transaction history
Set Budgets
Control spending with project budgets:
- Go to Project Settings
- Set a monthly budget
- Get alerts when approaching limits

Do unused credits roll over?

Can I get a refund?
Purchased credits are non-refundable but never expire. Plan changes are prorated.

An agent run may use multiple credits depending on:
